Doctoral Assessment Extern
Bringing together psychological assessment and each person’s unique experiences to help children, teens, and adults better understand themselves.
Casey (she/they) works alongside our licensed psychologists to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments across the lifespan. Their approach integrates psychological testing, clinical interviews, and each person’s lived experience to develop a thoughtful understanding of how an individual thinks, learns, feels, and functions. Casey believes that understanding a person’s experiences within the context of their relationships, culture, and broader systems can provide meaningful insight into how people move through the world and how to improve their wellbeing. They aim to translate insights gained through assessment into practical recommendations that clients and families can use in their everyday lives.
Casey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. They have experience working with children in therapeutic school-based settings, supporting a range of behavioral and emotional needs. Through this work, Casey has coordinated care across support networks to achieve the best outcomes for the students. Casey is currently expanding their experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults.
Casey’s clinical interests include understanding of how chronic health conditions, neurological differences, and physical disabilities shape people’s daily experiences and psychological well-being. They are particularly interested in how physical and emotional health influence one another and how assessment can help clients recognize their strengths, understand their needs, and identify supports that make everyday life more manageable.
