Chris Schroeder, M.A., M.P.H.

Doctoral Assessment Extern

Translating complex neuropsychological data into clear insights that help adults, children, and parents understand their unique strengths.

Chris (he/him) brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and compassionate care to his clinical work, with specialized expertise in neuropsychology and assessment. He is a fourth-year doctorate candidate in clinical psychology and serves as an assessment extern at JPC, conducting diagnostic evaluations alongside our psychologists.

He holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Adler University where he is currently also completing his Psy.D., a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from USC Keck School of Medicine, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical Science and Psychology from the University of Arizona. He is currently pursuing additional graduate study toward a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology at the Chicago School.

Chris has served in acute behavioral-health units, neuropsychology clinics, and pediatric hospitals, administering comprehensive assessments, leading therapy groups, and providing one-on-one support for medically-complex youth. His clinical experience spans diverse settings and populations, with particular dedication to underserved, neurodivergent children on the autism spectrum.

Grounded in relational neuropsychology, his assessment style is strengths-based and culturally responsive. He translates complex data into clear, actionable insights that enable clients to make informed decisions aligned with their values, centering each person’s lived experience through authentic empathy and presence.
